Fairey Barracuda The Barracuda was the Royal Navy's all-metal aircraft designed as a torpedo and dive bomber. The aircraft entered service in 1943 and was involved in many engagements including the attack on the German battleship Tirpitz. The Royal Canadian Navy, Netherlands Naval Aviation Service and French Air Force also operated the Barracuda.

The Sea Fury entered service in 1947 and was used during the Korean war and during the attempted invasion of Cuba in 1961. The Sea Fury was powered by the Bristol Centaurus aero engine enabling it to reach speeds of up to 460 mph.
