Westland WS61 Sea King This helicopter was built by Westland under licence from American Sikorsky. The Sea King entered service in 1969 and has worked hard both for the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy in many roles including anti-submarine, troop transport and Search and Rescue.

Aérospatiale SA330 Puma The Puma first flew in 1965 and entered service with the Royal Air Force in January 1971 at RAF Odiham with the designation of Puma HC Mk I, used in the transport role. The nickname 'WOKKA' comes from the distinctive sound made by the 60ft diameter twin rotors chopping the air.
