North American F-100 Super Sabre. The Super Sabre supersonic jet is part of the Century Series of jets designated the F-100. It was introduced to the USAF in September 1954 in the fighter/bomber role with 479th Fighter Wing, George AFB. The type saw combat service in Vietnam and remained in service with United States Air National Guard until 1979.
