North American F-86 Sabre
This the first American swept-wing transonic jet fighter, entering service with the USAF in 1947. The jet is famed for its encounters in combat with the MiG-15 during the Korean War. After 45 years the Sabre finished its military service with the Bolivian Air Force in 1994.
