Gloster Meteor The Meteor first flew on 5th March 1943. The Meteor was the allies only jet aircraft to see combat operations during WWII. Using Whittle's turbojet, the Meteor entered service with the Royal Air Force and was retired in the 1980s. This design is available in four colours with a design included on the back of the shirt. Sweat Shirts are made from 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester. Comfortable to wear at 280gsm with ribbed collar, cuffs and hem.
